This essay examines walking as a social art practice and pedagogical framework for teaching pilgrimage through embodied experience. Centered on the Camino de Santiago, it positions walking as a performative and ritual action that allows participants to situate their personal trajectories within a millennia-old cultural tradition while remaining in active dialogue with the surrounding landscape. Pilgrimage is approached not as a symbolic journey, but as a lived method of inquiry shaped by movement, duration, and shared attention.
