Mario Manuel Marzán
Interdisciplinary Artist
Mario Manuel Marzán works at the intersection of creative practice, research, and education—with a particular fondness for long walks. His work brings together drawing, installation, video, and emerging media to explore ecological precarity, cultural memory, and embodied movement. Grounded in social practice and transdisciplinary methods, Marzán approaches walking as an aesthetic practice—one that opens the landscape as a living archive shaped by migration, ritual, and shifting ecologies.
Formerly a gallery director, he has designed and facilitated collaborative exhibitions and supported the work of emerging practitioners, experiences that continue to inform his commitment to dialogue, experimentation, and community-centered learning.
